I am currently working and training in a general practice in Wellington, Western NSW.
I have a lot of interest in public health, lifestyle medicine and rural health advocacy and am currently deciding between an Advanced Specialised Training (AST) in Population Health or Palliative Care.
I grew up on a small farm between Tamworth and Gunnedah and was inspired to do medicine by my own local rural GP. I applied to become an Registrar Liaison Officer (RLO) for several reasons, including: getting to know people from all over my state and Australia (those who know me know I love a good chat), getting to work with the best College to try to increase the number of people choosing (and becoming) RGs, my weird comfort with paperwork, and advocating on behalf of registrars both within the College and outside of it.
My ACRRM day is Friday.
