About Dr Stephen Johnston

A current ACRRM rural generalist trainee with a keen interest in Indigenous health and Ear, nose and throat medicine. Born and bred in Bairnsdale, country Vic, Dr Johnston is currently in North Queensland completing his JCCA out of Townsville Base Hospital whilst concurrently working on the development and implementation of a new Integrated ENT service delivery model through Australia’s Cape York Region.

He is passionate about equitable healthcare throughout rural and remote Australia and carries a strong vested interest in the progression of rural and remote training pathways for ACRRM registrars around Australia.
