Asthma Australia has invited the College to participate as a project ambassador to develop national research priorities for asthma as determined by people with lived experience, their carers, treating health professionals and policy makers.

This is an opportunity to drive research around the issues that matter most, and which most lend themselves to being translated into tangible outcomes for those living with asthma.

The ambassador group sits alongside the project executive group and its role is to support and champion the intent, method, execution and translation of the agenda into action. Action means the dissemination of the results to influence research collaborations, research funding, and Australian institutional research policy to better benefit people with asthma and related respiratory illness.

Please contact j.johnson@acrrm.org.au no later than Monday 20 December if you are interested in taking on this role. Please attach a short outline of any relevant qualifications or experience.

ACRRM acknowledges and appreciates the support of members who take on these roles on behalf of the College.
