About Dr Natalia Anderson

My name is Nat and I am the Queensland RLO. I am currently undertaking a 6 month Diploma in Palliative Care at Rochkampton Hospital after which I will return to Emerald to complete a 6 month position as the SPaRTa registrar to conclude my advanced skill in Palliative care. I grew up on a cattle property in Central Queensland and studied in Townsville. I completed my junior doctor years on the Sunshine Coast before returning to Central Queensland and dragging my Brisbane born and bred partner, and now Emerald's only exercise physiologist, with me.

We enjoy being away from the hustle and bustle and spend our weekend on adventures with our 2 dogs, Otto, the German Short Haired Pointer and Georgie, the Smithfield cross. I have completed my Core time and am on track to fellow in 2024. I chose to step into the RLO role because I am a passionate advocator for those I serve.

I feel that being near the end of my training and in particular having completed my core training time, puts me in a position where I have the experience to support you and help you navigate the ACRRM pathway. I am easily approachable and responsive to emails throughout the working week.
