The Rural Anaesthetic Crisis Management (RACM) course focuses on improving emergency anaesthetic skills for clinicians practising in rural and remote environments.

This program will guide participants through the current guidelines, review pharmacological options and considerations, and enable the development of real-world practical skills in a constructive and supportive environment.

Appropriate for: This is a course for Rural Generalists facilitated by Rural Generalists. As this course encompasses the ANZCA Emergency Response Activities, it is also suitable for trainees and fellows of the Australian and New Zealand College of Anaesthetists, trainees and Fellows of the Australian College of Emergency Medicine and other trainees and fellows who have already acquired airway skills.

Please note: Prior knowledge and competence in airway skills are required to complete this course, and airway skills (e.g. intubation) are not taught.

It is recommended that participants register for the course at least 4 weeks prior to the hands-on workshop day, to ensure that you have enough time to complete the online learning hours.
