Important updates to ACRRM registrar education and training requirements from 2024.2 and 2025.2
Feb 25, 2025Updates to education and training requirements for new registrars effective from Semester 2, 2024, and Semester 2, 2025. Changes include replacing Tier 1 and 2 emergency medicine courses with mandatory REST and ALS2 and increasing the primary care training requirement from six to twelve months. -
ACRRM has updated the Assessment Eligibility Policy, limiting assessment attempts to four.
Nov 25, 2024ACRRM has recently endorsed an important update to the Assessment Eligibility Policy, limiting the number of attempts for all assessments to a maximum of four per modality. This policy, effective January 2025, will bring ACRRM into alignment with other medical colleges and set a consistent framework for registrars, Specialist International Medical Graduates (SIMGs), and ACRRM staff.
