ACRRM is a big family of doctors with a passion for the challenging and rewarding nature of diverse, rural work. Everyone knows everyone and there is endless support. I always struggled to choose which part of medicine I liked most, and ACRRM gave me the opportunity to practice a mix of emergency medicine, internal medicine, birthing and general practice. I also get to live rurally which I love as it means I get to come home from work to relax with my animals on the hobby farm. You will never get bored!

Renew nowBeing an ACRRM member has been a fantastic way for me to gain access to events and upskilling opportunities where I can meet likeminded students and junior doctors, and learn more about what it means to be a rural generalist and how to get there. The ACRRM community is incredibly supportive of students, and with your membership you have access to incredible educational resources and webinars that can supplement your learning in medical school
