Dr Nicola Tarnowski was born and bred in Perth but has been captured by the intense colours of the Kimberley.
She has worked across Western Australia (WA) including Busselton, Kalgoorlie, Port Hedland, Kununurra and Broome but always gravitate back to the Kimberley.
She is currently working on her Advanced Specialised Training (AST) in Anaesthetics at Joondalup and is looking forward to heading back to the red dirt next year.
Nicola is passionate about rural health and supporting rural doctors and loves being part of the ACRRM Registrar Committee so that she can advocate for issues that affect registrar across WA. She is active in medical teaching at the Notre Dame University and has been on previous committees.
Nicola comes with a breadth of experience that will help navigate important conversations about registrar's training experiences and needs in this new era of college-led training.
