About Trish Johnston

Working at ACRRM has been an amazing journey that started in 1999 when I was the only staff member, other than the CEO. I had no idea then that I would work with so many amazing people over the next 22 years and get to experience ACRRM growing into the vibrant organisation it is today with so many talented, inspirational and motivated staff.

I have been fortunate to work for all the ACRRM Presidents and been involved with 'fellowing' registrars who have gone on to do great things for their communities and the College itself.

I was also fortunate to be able to help run the very first Scientific Forum that, over time, developed into ACRRM’s RMA conference, which has become an important event for our members and is widely acclaimed throughout the medical industry.

Over the years, my roles at ACRRM have been very 'vertically integrated', working with medical students, registrars, Fellows and GP practices.

I have also had the opportunity to travel around the country and meet many of our members. It is wonderful to see how engaged they are with ACRRM and that is what makes it one very large family. Given that I have been working here for so long, I can’t imagine working anywhere else.

ACRRM has some exceptional staff, all of whom are happy to share their knowledge and assist others to develop skills.
