About Dr Anthony Carpenter
Location: Beaudesert QLD
Dr Anthony Carpenter is appointed to fill the vacant position of Council-appointed Director following Dr Dan Halliday’s appointment to president.
Anthony is a Rural Generalist with experience in hospitals and communities in every Australian state and territory, the Pacific, northern and sub-Saharan Africa and the Middle East.
Anthony is also a Public Health Physician with Australian and international experience since 2008. He is a member of the Australian Defence Force Reserve and a volunteer for the Australian Medical Assistance Team (AUSMAT).
Anthony’s pre-medicine background is in corporate finance and data analytics. He has extensive governance experience in the public and not-for-profit sectors.
During his personal time Anthony enjoys traveling with his family, cycling and running.
