Board Members

About Margot Richardson

Location: Atherton Tablelands, QLD  

Margot Richardson is a board-appointed Director, strengthening the College’s governance structure.  

Margot boasts over two decades of board-level experience in various sectors, encompassing government, not-for-profit (NFP), and commercial organisations. Her expertise spans multiple sectors including consultancy, telecom, health, community, education, environmental, and First Nations. She is currently the Director of Business Mapping Solutions, a bespoke governance and accounting practice focusing on supporting Indigenous corporations, NFP and entrepreneurial ventures.  

On the ACRRM board, Margot draws upon her extensive expertise to advise on financial management, governance, accountability, fiscal responsibility, risk management, and strategy development and implementation. She helps to ensure that ACRRM can understand risk and create a strong platform to achieve governance compliance for strong and sustainable growth.  

Outside of her professional life Margot loves to travel, keep an eye on the Australian Rugby Union teams and wrestle with her garden.
