About Dr Ella Johnson

Dr Ella Johnson was born and raised in Northern Tasmania before moving to the mainland for university. She spent a few years studying in Melbourne before realising she missed the bush and going rural. After graduation Ella worked across the Grampians and Mallee region’s as part of the Victorian Rural Generalist Program.

She has now moved home to Tasmania and is currently working as a Rural Generalist Registrar in Deloraine and Westbury.

Ella is passionate about improving rural healthcare and believes training skilled rural generalists is pivotal to this. She hopes to strengthen ACRRM training through the registrar committee.
