Dr McPhee has had a long association with the College, including as former president. He has been a GP Obstetrician and a GP Anaesthetist at the Emerald Hospital as well as running a teaching practice for registrars and Rural Generalist medical practitioners.
Dr McPhee has a strong interest in encouraging junior doctors to choose rural generalism, and supporting registrars through their Fellowship training.
