About Dr Meenal Joshi

Dr Meenal is an International Medical Graduate (IMG). She has worked as a medical officer in different hospitals in rural Victoria (Traralgon, Bendigo, Echuca, Horsham and Bairnsdale).

She has always loved the variety one gets exposed to while working as a Rural Generalist and hence decided to settle in Colac, Victoria. Meenal has done her Advanced Specialised Training (AST) in Emergency Medicine.

Meenal has a special interest in rural medicine, emergency medicine and women’s health. Meenal likes to cook, read, and travel to new places. She also enjoys trying new activities and places to eat. 

Meenal is aware that being a registrar can be a pleasant but at times difficult experience. She loves helping people navigate this journey and learn herself, and meet new people along the way.
