ACRRM is pleased to welcome Brynnie Goodwill as a director on the ACRRM board.
Brynnie, who has extensive governance experience as a former CEO and non-executive director, replaces Annabelle Brayley who was engaged as the inaugural community representative on the board.
On behalf of the College, President Dr Sarah Chalmers recognises Annabelle’s contribution and welcomes Brynnie to the organisation.
“ACRRM's focus is to provide high-quality training and education that gives rural doctors the skills they need to provide excellent healthcare to their rural and remote communities,” Dr Chalmers says.
“Annabelle’s skills and insights as a renowned community advocate have provided the College with valuable insights which have helped guide our decision making and ensure we continue to put the community’s needs at the focus of what we do.
"She has made a considerable contribution to the board, staff and members, and I thank her for the professionalism and dedication she continuously demonstrated throughout her tenure.
“With her term as a director concluding, we welcome Brynnie as the new board director representing communities.
“Brynnie has 25 years’ experience as a non-executive director, CEO, senior executive, and management consultant for a range of organisations, including not-for-profit and the health sector.
“Her skills in corporate governance, strategy, policy development, risk management and compliance will bring value to the College as we progress transition to College-led Training and Continuing Professional Development homes,” Dr Chalmers says.
