The Wound Management Working Group was established to provide advice to the Taskforce regarding existing MBS items for the management of acute wounds and issues relating to the management of chronic wounds more broadly. The College has been invited to provide comments on the report and is seeking feedback from members to inform this submission.

The Group has now completed its review and the Taskforce is seeking the views of key stakeholders in relation to the recommendations outlined in the WMWG’s report. The Taskforce will consider the Report from the working group and stakeholder feedback before making recommendations to the Minister for Health, for consideration by Government.
