Queensland Health has established a Reform Planning Group to prepare advice for the Deputy Premier and Minister for Health and Minister for Ambulance Services on how best to harness opportunities from Queensland’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Group is inviting submissions, particularly regarding practice and system changes made during the COVID-19 pandemic that could be adopted on an ongoing basis and opportunities to pursue as part of longer-term reforms.
The Reform Planning Group has been asked to deliver a Reform Roadmap in August 2020, with recommendations on priority actions to ensure the health and wellbeing of all Queenslanders and sustainability of the health system. Reform activities will focus on preventing ill health and delivering value for patients, staff and partners, and the wider community.
Please contact Jenny Johnson (j.johnson@acrrm.org.au) by Monday, 22 June if you have feedback to inform the College submission.
Members can also provide individual written submissions via email to reformplanning@health.qld.gov.au by Friday, 26 June 2020.
