The College has been invited to nominate a representative to join the Emerging Minds GP Special Interest Group to assist with reviewing content for an eLearning on Child Mental Health Skills Training (4hrs). The course is currently in development and comprises four modules covering identification, assessment, care planning and support required for children aged 5-11 at risk of or experiencing mental health difficulties. 

The course will seek accreditation with professional bodies once it has piloted later in the year (November).   

The time commitment is approximately 10 hours over a 6-month period starting at the end of July. The GP is required to have an initial 20-minute phone or zoom meeting prior to receiving content to review and then further follow-up phone calls/ emails to provide feedback. Other tasks include giving feedback and providing input on associated resources. Remuneration will be $150 per hour.
