The College has been invited to provide a representative for the National Strategic Blood forum, which will be held on Wednesday 31 March by videconference. This presenter will be participating in a session to discuss the current and future blood requirements for different settings, including regional and remote medicine, chronic transfusion support, in the emergency department and for hospital retrieval, followed by a discussion panel.

Participation would involve providing a 10-15 min presentation (which will be pre-recorded) on the current and future requirements for regional and remote medicine followed by participation in the discussion panel.

College staff can provide assistance in formatting slides for the presentation and in providing other technical assistance.

ACRRM is grateful for the support of our members in taking on these representative roles. Please contact j.johnson@acrrm.org.au as soon as possible if you are interested. It would be useful if you could provide an outline of any relevant experience and interests.
