The National Prescribing Service has invited the College to nominate a representative to the Psychotropic Medicines for Young People Stakeholder Reference Group.
This group will provide strategic and pragmatic advice into the development of a national program which aims to improve the management of common mental health conditions for people aged 16-24 years.
The program will include educational visits to GPs and GP practices and other resources and activities for health professionals and consumers that support quality use of medicines and non-medicine management strategies.
The Stakeholder Reference Group will meet for no more than five meetings during the program from September 2021 - June 2022. Meetings will be via video conferencing and between 1.5 to 2 hours per meeting.
