ACRRM has recently undertaken a review of the Core Generalist Training (CGT) Procedural Skills Logbook based on feedback from registrars and stakeholders. The logbook has been updated and now aligns with current Rural Generalist procedures.

The updates include:

  • updated and increased procedures list

  • simplified certification levels

  • new certification levels definitions.

Candidates are required to complete 100% of the 'Essential' procedures at level A or B. 100% of the ‘Important' procedures may be completed at any level (A, B, C or D).

If you have started using the previous CGT Procedural Skills Logbook, you can continue to do so. Submissions of the previous logbook will continue to be accepted. If you wish to transfer to the new logbook, contact your training officer at training@acrrm.org.au, who will provide you access and download your current version. Please note, you will need to manually enter existing content to the new logbook.

If you have not started using the CGT Procedural Skills Logbook, or you are new to the College from 1 March 2022, you will have access to the new logbook immediately.

More information about the CGT Procedural Skills Logbook can be found in the Handbook for Fellowship Assessment.
