The QIMR Medical Research Institute has been funded by Cancer Australia to undertake a project to develop tools and guidelines for the early diagnosis of pancreatic cancer.
It focuses on the first two priorities set out in the National Pancreatic Cancer Roadmap:
In acknowledgement of the need to include the rural and remote perspective, the College has been invited to nominate representatives to the project advisory groups.
Members are invited to express interest in either or both of the two guidelines working groups for these priorities. It is anticipated that each working group will involve 1-3 online meetings (around 2 hours each), with some extra feedback via email. It is not anticipated that the total time will be more than 10-20 hours.
Working group members will be compensated for their time by approximately $1500, but it will vary somewhat depending on how many meetings and additional time is required.
If you are interested in contributing to this project, please send an expression of interest to policy@acrrm.org.au, including:
Please send through your EOI by Thursday 1 June
The College acknowledges and thanks members who take on these roles.
