The NT Rural Generalist Coordination Unit supports aspiring prevocational doctors to experience rural and remote primary health rotations through the Rural Generalist Program. It is a selective and flexible pathway that offers prevocational doctors the opportunity to explore a wide variety of clinical training and develop the advanced skill set required to support the health needs of rural communities. The Rural Generalist Coordination Unit provides support and guidance to doctors on the Program through facilitating rotations, advocating for placements, and connecting with Rural Generalist mentors to provide career advice and support.
