The Australian Commission on Safety and Quality in Health Care (NSQHS) has released the draft NSQHS Standards User Guide for Medication Management in Cancer Care for public consultation.
The aim of the User Guide is to assist health services identify and implement best practice systems and processes to support patients receiving medicine treatments for cancer care. This includes when care is shared between organisations and service providers.
This User Guide will be a useful aid to medical oncologists, haematologists, hospital pharmacists, hospital nurses, general practitioners, community pharmacists and community nurses.
