On behalf of the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine, we express our deepest sympathy to the family, colleagues and peers of RACGP President Dr Harry Nespolon, who passed away yesterday, 26 July 2020.
Dr Nespolon was a passionate and tireless advocate for general practice and the Australian healthcare system.
As a long-standing colleague, and more recently as ACRRM president, I have appreciated the opportunity to work collaboratively with Dr Nespolon to improve national recognition and support for General Practitioners and the healthcare system.
His career as a GP and a leader is one to be proud of.
We offer our support and greatest respect to all who feel his loss.
