Project ECHO is a free, interactive, online learning model that provides access to specialist advice, and aims to support and empower health, education and social service professionals to practice at the top of their scope, supporting people with complex, chronic and common conditions. Children’s Health Queensland will be hosting the series and further information about Project ECHO can be found on the CHQ website.

You are invited to attend a new Project ECHO series focusing on supporting integrated models of care to meet the psychosocial needs of consumers during and following the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic.  Sessions will include brief presentations and discussion on a range of topics, including:

  • Virtual service delivery
  • Transition points in consumer care
  • Complex trauma in grief and loss
  • Support for vulnerable communities
  • Hidden trauma impacts on staff

This series will be relevant for a multi-professional audience working in public and private health care settings across Australia and internationally. This includes allied health, nursing and medical professionals, health practitioners working in Primary Health Networks, university partners and key service providers concerned with integrated care, such as non-government organisations, family and domestic violence, education and housing.
