The Queensland Rural Generalist Pathway, Darling Downs Health are running a Rural Generalist Advanced Skills Training introductory workshop for registrars who are starting their AST in internal medicine, mental health or paediatrics in 2021. This intensive three-day workshop is designed to prepare, support and build your skills and confidence to undertake advanced skills training in Queensland.
Workshop places will be offered to applicants accepted to an internal medicine, mental health or paediatrics advanced skills training position interstate where possible, with priority given to Queensland applicants.
To be eligible to enrol in this workshop you:
- must have been accepted to an internal medicine, mental health or paediatrics advanced skills training position; and
- must be a current Queensland Rural Generalist Trainee or GP registrar tracking to Rural Generalist or GP internal medicine, mental health or paediatrics practice.
Workshop dates: 27 - 29 January 2021
Location: Toowoomba QRME Building
Cost: $550 (Queensland-based attendees)
