The College has been invited to nominate a representative to a Lung Learning Consortium which has been established by the Thoracic Society of Australia and New Zealand and the Lung Foundation Australia. The Consortium will provide direct expert advice and guidance regarding the development and implementation of a National Long Health Competency and Education Framework for Primary Care Health Professionals.
Meetings will be held monthly or fortnightly according to need. This is a voluntary position, although expenses may be reimbursed for attendance at any face-to-face meetings.
