ACRRM is pleased to announce two new appointments and two re-appointments to the College Council, endorsed at the Annual General Meeting on 27 October.
The College welcomes new appointees Dr Angela Stratton, representing Victorian members, and Dr Alice Fitzgerald, representing Western Australian members. Dr Alice Fitzgerald fills a casual vacancy as WA Councilor until the AGM in 2022, while Dr Angela Stratton has been appointed for a full three-year term.
Dr Eve Merfield, representing Tasmanian members, and Dr Rod Martin, representing New South Wales members, were both reappointed to Council for another three-year term.
Dr Antoinette Mowbray, who finished her term on the Council, was recognised for her considered contribution while representing Victorian members.
The College Council includes Dr Stephen Holmes (SA), Dr Eve Merfield (TAS), Dr Tendai Miller (Future Generalists Committee Chair), Dr Regina Philip (Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Working Group representative), Susanne Tegen (Community representative), Dr Greer Weaver (NT), Dr Brendan Carrigan (QLD), Dr Rod Martin (NSW), Emily Harrison (RDAA representative), Dr Zoe Wright (Registrar Committee Chair), Dr Alice Fitzgerald (WA), Dr Angela Stratton (VIC) and the Board Directors.
The College looks forward to the Council’s valuable input into strategic operations and advocacy on matters including College-led Training, Continuing Professional Development, assessment, respectful workplaces and more.
