“You will be missed at ACRRM. You are such a calm and thoughtful and diligent member of our team. You have offered such leadership over many years. I am sad to see you leave, but excited to hear the adventures you are planning. Sending my very best to you and Gordon.” – LUCIE WALTERS

Lynn Saul, who has held a range of management positions in our education services area, finishes with the College this month. The College would like to celebrate Lynn’s huge contribution to the body of work underpinning the ACRRM Fellowship program.

During Lynn's more-than-12 years with the College, she has spearheaded the development and refinement of the Rural Generalist Fellowship Curriculum, our supervisor and practice accreditation processes, assessment and training policies.

Lynn commenced with ACRRM in 2008 to assist in the development work which led to the College successfully gaining full accreditation as an Australasian medical college in 2011. Over the years, she has been instrumental in converting the unique vision of our members into a workable set of documents and processes that provide the foundation for our training programs. Our recent Australian Medical Council accreditation again included public acclamation of Lynn’s work in the development of the new Rural Generalist curriculum. In recent times, Lynn’s encyclopaedic knowledge of the College and the sector has been a most valued resource for the College.

As her boat sails back over the ditch to New Zealand, ACRRM takes this opportunity to sincerely thank Lynn for all her efforts and wish her well in her future adventures.

“The success of ACRRM has been as much to do with the diligence, skill and commitment of people like Lynn who have been able to translate all the crazy ideas into action. I really enjoyed working with Lynn on the early days of ACRRM’s assessment program, and all of her wise counsel over the years.” – TARUN SEN GUPTA
