Expressions of interest are open for Steering Committee membership on the Queensland Rural and Remote Clinical Network (QRRCN) for the following roles: 

  • Rural Academic 

  • Rural Allied Health Professional  

  • Rural General Practitioner 

  • Rural Generalist with Advanced Skills Training (obstetrics) 

The QRRCN Steering Committee is comprised of multidisciplinary leadership and provides a platform to collaborate and strategically plan innovative approaches to service delivery that is underpinned by a commitment to deliver safe, quality and culturally appropriate care to rural and remote communities.  Further information can be found in the Terms of Reference.

Members are required to attend Steering Committee meetings (held virtually via MS Teams bi-monthly and alternating between afternoon and evening), annual forum, and strategic planning workshop and other ad hoc QRRCN meetings. In addition, members are asked to review and provide feedback on meeting papers and out of session requests. Members may also nominate to lead/facilitate Reference Groups. Steering Committee members are appointed for a two-year term, with positions being declared vacant at the end of the two-year period.

  1. Email your current CV or resume (including referees) to qldruralnetwork@health.qld.gov.au. Referees should have a thorough knowledge of your work performance and conduct, and it is preferable to include your current supervisor. Referees will only be contacted with your consent.
