Following the February 2022 board meeting, the board made the decision to increase the number of directors by one. The board is now seeking assistance with recruitment of an independent, non-executive director to their skills-based board. Information on how to apply, including required criteria, are outlined here. The College is particularly seeking someone with demonstrated contemporary financial and commercial management skills and experience at board level.
It would be advantageous for the successful candidate to have some experience in, or understanding of the health system, and be residing in a rural and remote location.
To maintain gender diversity on the board, the board is ideally seeking a female director, and in line with ACRRM’s focus on diversity and inclusion, applications are also encouraged from Indigenous Australia, people from a range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds and people with disabilities.

A second position, open to ordinary financial members, is for a casual vacancy of director on the board.
