ACRRM is committed to fostering safe and respectful training and work environments for our members with cultures of belonging, where diversity is celebrated and people can reach their full potential.

The Respectful Workplaces Committee facilitates the sharing of ideas and information throughout the College; supports the implementation of the Respectful Workplaces Framework; and advocates for appropriate working environments for our members.

The College is committed to delivering wellbeing support to all members using a holistic approach. ACRRM’s Wellbeing Coordinator Paul Townsley is working closely with the Respectful Workplaces Committee to champion the framework across the College, as well as developing a range of supports to strengthen the College’s capacity to provide wellbeing services to our members.

Work has already commenced on developing and guiding the internal education of ACRRM staff to support the wellbeing of Registrars and Supervisors through the delivery of the two-day Standard Mental Health First Aid course to over 20 key staff across the College.

The College also provides 24/7 Wellbeing Support through its Employee Assistance Program (EAP). Members experiencing workplace, training, exam, or other stresses or issues impacting personal wellbeing can call ACRRM’s EAP line, which provides free of charge immediate, confidential counselling and support on 1800 818 728.
