The Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM) is pleased to announce the installation of new representatives to the College Board and Council, following their official induction at the Annual General Meeting held in Garramilla (Darwin) NT last Friday.
These new leaders will help steer ACRRM through the next phase of its Strategic Plan, strengthening the College’s dedication to
advancing the health and wellbeing of rural, remote, and First Nations communities.
The Board and Council play a pivotal role in representing our members.
With the recent launch of a new strategic plan, a growing number of registrars joining the ACRRM Fellowship program, and the College’s expanding reach across Australia, this is an exciting time for ACRRM governance.
The Board and Council also extends its gratitude to Dr Emily Harrison, who stood for the role of president, praising her for commitment and willingness to step forward. Dr Harrison continues to represent the Rural Doctors Association of Australia on the College Council and is an active member of the Respectful Workplaces Committee.
