About Dr John Bingley

Dr Bingley is a senior vascular surgeon at the Mater Hospital Brisbane, who has a special interest in chronic wounds and wound healing.

He spent his formative years as a doctor in Queensland country hospitals during which time he enjoyed the close relationship with General Practice, even undertaking a Diploma of Obstetrics as he considered a career in primary care.

Prior to his formal surgical training in Queensland and Melbourne, John completed a Master of Medical Science and PhD researching acute vascular injury.
