ACRRM has worked collaboratively with Regional Training Organisations (RTOs) and the Department of Health and Aged Care (DoHAC) to ensure a smooth transition in all aspects of training to the College.
Each RTO has co-designed their plan with ACRRM, outlining operational tasks and timeframes for the transition of the ACRRM Fellowship program in each region. The plans inform internal and external communication, resources and mutual accountabilities. The collaboration and goodwill shown by the RTOs during their plan's development will help ensure a smooth transition for registrars, supervisors and training posts, while focusing on the needs of those residing within rural and remote communities.
The Transition Plans are living documents. All parties expect that there may be changes over time to activity timelines due to changes in external factors or as implementation is undertaken. Any changes will be by mutual agreement.
