The Western NSW training region includes two subregions where you can undertake your training – Western NSW, and Murrumbidgee & ACT. From the rural lifestyle to being part of the great outdoors and enjoying the many festivals and events throughout the year, there are many reasons to consider Advanced Specialised Training in Western NSW.  Opportunities include sub-specialities in adult internal medicine, anaestheticsemergency medicinemental healthobstetrics and gynaecologypaediatricspalliative care and  surgery.

Within North Eastern NSW there are three subregions where you can undertake your training: the beautiful North Coast, the Hunter, Manning and Central Coast, all renowned for wineries and beaches.

The New England/ North Western region is a showcase for a relaxing rural lifestyle and rich agricultural lands.

Opportunities are available for Advanced Specialised Training in anaesthesiaemergency medicinemental healthobstetrics and gynaecologypaediatricspalliative care and surgery.

With over 230 Core Generalist Training (CGT) posts and over 60 AST posts, the New South Wales and ACT training region offers a wide choice of locations suited to your professional and personal interests.
