  • How to maintain 100% A1 Medicare Billing on ACRRM's Independent Pathway

    Medicare Benefits Scheme (MBS) reform means non-vocationally registered (non-VR) GPs will need to be on a Fellowship pathway to maintain 100% A1 Medicare billing. ACRRM can endorse your Medicare Provider Number (MPN) while you progress towards Fellowship. Best yet, non-VR GPs can receive $15,000 of Commonwealth support towards the Independent Pathway education fees. It can take up to 10 weeks to renew your MPN, so it is important to get in early.   • Recovery grants extended for North QLD floods

    Small businesses and primary producers impacted by the North and Far North Queensland floods earlier this year have until the end of November to apply for recovery grants. Up to $75,000 is available for primary producers and up to $50,000 for small businesses and not-for-profits to help with clean-up and recovery activities.
